Silverback Lodge opened in June 2008, is a small and cozy lodge perched on high, atop the valley overlooking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The view is absolutely stunning.
Accommodation:
There are seven rooms built next to each other that are designed using local materials, such as the forest vines, purple slate stone and sisal rope. Each room has an ensuite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the forest.
Facilities:
The restaurant has unique and creative menus that are prepared by the lodge Chef for your tastes. The dishes vary from local to international menus, set in cozy surroundings. There is a summit bar that is well stocked and in a comfortable setting which is perfect for sharing the day's adventures of gorilla-trekking and other fauna.
