The Katikkiro of Buganda announed yesterday the birth of a second son to Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II. In a statement issued by the office of the Kabaka on the Kingdom's website, it read “I have the pleasure to inform the entire Kingdom of Buganda that Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II became father to a second boy in July 2011,” signed by Katikiro John Baptist Walusimbi.

The Prince is named Ssemakookiro and his mother is of Nseenene (grasshopper) clan.

Ssemakookiro is the fifth child of the Kabaka after Prince Jjunju Suuna Kiweewa and Princesses; Joan Nassolo , Victoria Nkinzi  and Sarah Katrina Sangalyambogo.
