This 5 star theatre is home to Uganda's leading drama group famously known for their leading television series "That's Life Mwattu" & "Bibaawo".

The Ebonies were formed around 1977 as Jimmy Katumba with the Ebonies and continued under that title as a musical drama group until 1990 when several of their members migrated to United States and United Kingdom.

The remaining members became "The Ebonies" and then started stage dramas and TV series. Their leading actor Sam Bagenda aka Dr. Bbosa is a celebrated actor having won several accolades that include actor of the millennium.
