Large super markets like Nakumatt, Shoprite and Uchumi are almost exclusively found in Kampala. Small family managed super markets are found in towns and other areas of Uganda. Markets and road side vendors enroute to most tourist hot spots in Uganda are popular with travelers.

Attractive souvenirs such as wood carvings are also widely available in the towns and enroute some travel routes.
