Dress is generally informal. Swim wear and very skimpy clothing should be confined to beaches and resorts. For safaris, "natural" colours should be worn in preference to bright colours. In the forest areas of Bwindi, Mgahinga, Rwenzori and Elgon areas, it is cold and will require sweaters, jackets and long sleeped shirts and blouses.
