Most safari hotels and safari camps serve both western dishes and local food. Soft drinks are available everywhere. Beers (Nile and Bell are the most common), spirits such as Uganda Waragi and imported wines are reasonably priced and available.

For drinking, bottled water should be used in preference for tap water.
