Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru
It is located near Nyakasura School in Kabarole district. It is a limestone site which has stalagmites and stalactites. As the stalactites drip the calcium carbonate to form stalagmites down below, they are referred to by traditionalists as the breasts of Nyinamwiru. Nyinamwiru was the mother of Ndahura the first Muchwezi King of the Empire of Kitara. There is a water fall within the rock system and crater lakes nearby qualifying the site to be a cultural landscape.
Sempaya Hot spring
The hot springs are found in the Semliki river valley below the escarpment on the way to Bundibugyo town. They are located in two areas where one is referred to as the “male” and the other as the “female”. The Bamba carry out cultural ceremonies at both sites.
Semwema rock shelter
This site is located 2kms west of Kakumiro trading centre and 1 km before Musa earth works in Kibale district. It is an active shrine of the Bachwezi cult. The shrine is underneath a rock shelter which can accommodate about 200 people. There is a tunnel within the rock shelter through which the visitors pass to the top of to view the country side.
Kasubi Tombs
The magnificent reed and ring work representing the 52 clans of the Baganda, the equally long and straight poles wrapped with bark cloths the tranquility inside the house all contribute to the mysticism respect and awe which form the intangible values about the site.
