Day 1: On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, depending on time of arrival go birding at Entebbe Botanical Gardens or drive to Mabira Forest. Over night stay at the Rain Forest Lodge - Mabira.

Day 2: Full day birding in Mabira forest. Early evening transfer to Kampala for overnight stay at the Forest Cottages, Bukoto.

Day 3: Full day birding at Mabamba Swamp. Overnight stay at Forest Cottages, Bukoto.

Day 4: Set off for Busingiro, Budongo forest. Over night stay.

Day 5: Birding in Budongo forest starting with the “Royal Mile” in the morning followed by the Busingiro area in the afternoon. Over night stay at Nile Safari Camp.

Day 6: Cross the Nile at Paraa and spend the morning game viewing north of the Nile. Later take on an afternoon launch cruise up the Nile to the Bottom of Murchison falls. Over night stay at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Take on a morning boat ride to the delta area. Have the afternoon at leisure (taking it easy). Overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Cross the Nile and head for Kibale Forest National Park as you bird enroute. Over night stay at Primate Lodge – Kibale.

Day 9: Morning chimpanzee tracking punctuated by birding. Later in the afternoon go birding in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Primate Lodge – Kibale.

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National as you bird enroute. Arrive in time for an afternoon birding session along Kazinga channel. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 11: Morning game viewing and birding around Mweya and the crater area. Later take on a late afternoon launch cruise along Kazinga channel. Overnight stay at Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 12: Morning birding around Maramagambo Forest. Later transfer to Ishasha. Over night stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.

Day 13: Morning birding and search for tree climbing lions. Later transfer to Bwindi Forest. Over night stay at Buhoma Lodge.

Day 14: Gorilla trekking with birding enroute. Overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge.

Day 15: Full day birding in the Ruhija area. Overnight stay at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge.

Day 16: Bird enroute to Kabale. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park.  Bird the Rwonyo area before retiring for dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge.

Day 17: Bird along the Kigambiro loop. Later take on a boat ride before heading back to Kampala. Over night stay at Cassia Lodge.

Day 18: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport from where you will catch up with your onward / home bound flight.
